We only stopped one night at Bloodstock Barn on our way back home from Wales - I wish we could have stopped longer. Lovely welcome and the room was much better equiped and decorated than many 4* hotels. Lovely room with a fridge with fresh milk and cost price drinks - your own mini-bar. Bathroom was a real treat with a walk in shower, robes and a basket full of things you might forget and need.
Breakfast was a lovely - we all shared one table with the doors open onto the garden (watched attentively from the doors by the lovely dogs). The quality of the food at breakfast was fantastic - Black Bacon and vine roasted tomatoes - yum.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area - I doubt you'll find better.
