There was a stale water smell upon arriving in the check-in area. There was a smell of deep fat fryer oil that had never been changed in the dining area. There was a hostile reception from hostess when we asked for anything - toast was cold at breakfast. There was warning on the breakfast menu about not over ordering at breakfast. I have stayed in various accomodation and this was a first! Cleaniness was lacking on the tables and serving area. There is potental for this establishment, however not under the current owners. Having spent several years working the tourism industry, this place could do with an attiude adjustment.
