Perfect location if you are visiting the university. My room (like the rest of the inn) was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The Beefeater restaurant next door was also very good - excellent evening meal and breakfast. I will definitely be visiting again.

We paid just £29 for the night and really have no complaints. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had a good shower. Exactly what you would expect from a good premier inn. Worthy of note was the pub affiliated to the inn - we had dinner on arrival which was lovely, as well as a wonderful breakfast before leaving. There was a huge choice of cereals, breads and all cooked breakfasts were made to order. I was also impressed that you could have your eggs poached, scrambled, fried, boiled or a plain omelette. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stop here again.

We have stayed here 3 times after dropping our daughter at Uni in Middesbrough. The reception staff are always cheerful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The setting is nice, on the outskirts of town with walks across the countryside and rabbits skipping through the car park. close by is the retail park with lots of shops and restaurants. Its also handy having the beafeater next door.
We will definitely stay there again!

We stayed for a few days to attend a family wedding. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. It was also convenient for eating out due to the attached Beefeater (we ate here twice - first time was excellent, the second time [when it was much busier] the food and service was decidedly average) and the restaurants on the nearby Teeside retail park. We had the as-much-as-you-can-eat breakfast and there was plenty of it and all good quality and nicely cooked, There's plenty of parking and all seems safe and secure. This hotel would also be a great base for a holiday as its really not far to the dales, the moors, the sea, Durham, York etc etc. I strongly recommend.
