I would thoroughly recommend this Inn. We had a lovely stay. The rooms are spotless with lots of little extra touches. The breakfast was also excellent and the owners friendly and helpful.We stayed at The Stags Head to attend a wedding locally. Our accommodation, welcome and overall experience was a lot better than many of our friends received at a nearby, more expensive Hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Stags Head Inn in October.
We had room number 3 which was beautiful and had loads of finishing touches and a seriously big and comfortable bed! The room was also very clean, not even a spot of dust!
The staff and owners were really friendly and were eager to help.
We ate in on the Friday night and the food was great and homemade whilst reasonably prices. Once again, the staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was great and there was lots to choose from. It set us up well for a trip to the Castle which we loved, a must see!
Lynton and Lynouth are definitely worth a visit. It is a beautiful drive to get there is lots to look at. Don’t forget a trip on the Cliff Railway!
My only comment would be, as you are staying in a busy local Inn, expect a bit of noise in the evenings. We wanted somewhere with character so this was not a problem at all.
Overall we really loved this Inn and would definitely recommend and return ourselves and it is great value.

We stayed for one night for a friend's wedding. Friendly staff, great food and lovely rooms.
