“Good option for the lower budget”

If you don't expect too much of your B&B, this is a good choice. It's not all that expensive, the rooms are clean (though rather old fashioned), there's a television + videoplayer and the place itself is well located if you don't mind taking a bus (too far to walk into town). There's a couple of parking spaces in front of the hotel as well. Breakfast was okay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Forres House. Julie, the owner, was extremely helpful and warm. The breakfast was excellent!

Nice Bed and Breakfast, outside of town but right on the bus line, so it's easy to get to the heart of Bath. Owners were very friendly, room size varies, the one we had was smallish, the bathroom was probably the biggest drawback, very tiny, but let's face it, you probably didn't come to Bath to hang out in the bathroom anyway. They have a nice selection of videos and a TV with a video player in each room which was a nice surprise. After all the walking and shopping, it made calling it a night that much easier. Rates reasonable, too.
