Loveley large Family run B&B on the main rd on the outskirts of Bath & on the main Bus route to the City Centre (£2.05 e.w.). If you walk to the Royal Cresent & around it to the end, then down to the main rd & turn right you have a nice walk back to the Hotel (20 min's) & a saving, I am a Yorkshireman remember.
Our room was on 1st floor facing the rear garden, so no road noise at all & we slept like log's.Nice large room with ensuite & lovely & warm, with a TV/VCR & even a number of books to read, which was very thoughtful. Also the entire room & property was as clean as a whistle.
Julie, the owner, was very helpful & obliging, giving us directions to an excellent & cheap Indian Restaurant, also allowing us to leave our car parked at her premises until we returned to leave at 2pm, this helped greatly as getting round & parking in Bath is horrendous. The Breakfast was excellent, with Fresh fruit salad, various cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, dried fruit & nut's, Full English Breakfast or any variation of it, Kippers, Smoked Salmon & on, together with every type of preserve & I don't know how many types of Tea. Only reason it wasn't an "Excellent" all round was, the cat's wandering in & out front for food & upstairs, also a dog basket in kitchen doorway at breakfast, which can be a little off putting.
