Excellent room, breakfast & staff. Very good standard and layed out more hotel-like rather than staying in someone's house. Warm, near station and attractions but double glazed so quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a night while visiting Bath.

The rooms are cozy and the rate was one of the best we found while traveling the UK.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the house is off the street enough that I slept like a baby the whole night.

The hotel is a short walk to the attractions found in Bath (Roman Baths, etc).

Breakfast was wonderful and the staff who served us were attentive and kept our coffee and tea warm and full.

I would definitely recommend this quaint B&B to anyone visiting Bath for business or entertainment.

From the moment we arrived an hour earlier than anticipated everything was perfect. We were greeted with a friendly welcome, checked in early, given maps and information and sent on our way.

The rooms were large, airy, clean and comfortable, with super snuggy bedding. There was a really lovely, at home feel to the whole hotel. Heating was spectacular, there were heaps of towels and all the luxuries you would expect from any hotel were on hand. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. We sampled porridge, the Full English, salmon and scrambled eggs and everything was cooked to perfection.

The room we were in was really quiet. Despite being on the ground floor near the main hallway and reception we weren't disturbed by outside noise at all. There was a very comfortable reading room downstairs with TV, radio, computer and internet. Should we go back to Bath I wouldn't look for another hotel. We also found it to be excellent value and we felt we got a lot for our money - more than what we paid for.

We were very happy with Pulteney House. We had a friendly welcome and the room was comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits which were re-stocked during our stay. There were no nasty surprises with the shower and we were able to control the heating and ventilation in the room. We had plenty of storage space too. Although it was on a fairly main road it was quiet at night. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection and the staff were very pleasent and obliging. The house and gardens are attractive but one important reason for choosing to stay here is that you can park your car off road and walk into the city centre. It's also close to the canal if you fancy a stroll along the tow path. We stayed in the main house so can't comment on the annex. The owners were very friendly and easy going which led to a relaxed atmosphere. They were happy for us to leave our car for a while after booking out so we were able to take a last trip into Bath. There was also a comfortable lounge with a computer which we were able to use. We would definitely stay here again.
