“Wonderfully warm and very nice B&B indeed.”

We arrived at Badminton Villa on New Years Eve and were greeted by both Steve and Heather who were both extremely warm and welcoming. The accomodation was lovely, extremely clean, comfortable and very well positioned, being just around a 15 minute walk into Bath town centre. We were given a list of good restaraunts along with a map and good directions; we would recommend the local Indian restaraunt - Panahar, lovely food and great service.
The feeling we had was that both Heather and Steve and the lovely lady who helped with the breakfast would go the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible, they truly delivered on all points. Breakfast was wonderful from the fresh fruit to the wonderful full English.
To summarise the Badminton Villa is a wonderful place to stay and we will cerainly visit again next time we are up in bath and we will certainly recommend to all our freinds and family. Kevin and Bridget.

Room Tip: We stayed in room No.3 and it was lovely.

Excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Even arranged free parking for the day, after we had checked out. No problems with the room and delicious breakfast. Very happy to recommend to all.

“Wonderful”

Heather and Steve are great hosts; very helpful and warm. Steve greeted my fiance and I when we arrived and gave us some recommendations about what we can do in Bath. As we are food-lovers, we loved that he gave us a list of recommended restaurants that we can try during our time in Bath (which we put to good use).

The house is located near the city centre (about a 15min walk). We were given a huge room and it came with an spectacular view of Bath. The room was beautifully furnished and was always kept clean. I liked their yummy bedside cookies but the thermal flask seemed to have a little algae (?) as it was placed near the window (where there's sun) so we bought bottled water instead of boiling it. Nevertheless, I liked that there was free wifi and even a laptop available for guest use in the hall.

Although their breakfast timing is a little tight (8.30-9am), their breakfast was definitely worthy of their breakfast award. We were offered specials the day that we dined in (smoked salmon) instead of the regular English breakfast, and the food was fantastic. As we had to leave early to catch a train on our last day, we could not have cooked breakfast, so we had to make do with cereal. However, we were very touched that Heather had packed a small bag of food containing apples, granola bars, packet juice, and some muffins for us to take away, just like what a mum would do for her kids. We were also extremely grateful to Steve for taking the trouble to send us to the railway station as we could not book a cab in the morning.

Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

Heather and Steve are the perfect hosts and never fail to make you feel super special. Nothing is too much effort, opening their house up to their guests as though you were one of the family. 'mi casa es tu casa', as they'd say in Spain! Already booked in for the same time next year (for the 3rd year running).
