“If you're staying in Bath, stay here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2009

When we arrived we were met with a beautiful view of a well kept garden and house full of charm. On entering the house we were made to feel extremely welcome and shown straight up to our room. I have to say the room was every bit as fantastic as it had looked on the website. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated, with some real personal touches that made it feel that bit more special.
They say you never sleep anywhere as well as you do in your own bed but I defy anyone who says they struggled with getting a good night's sleep here. Teamed with a continental breakfast and a made to order English breakfast we were set for a day of adventure in Bath.
John and Catherine were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble.
My fear was that we would feel awkard being that the establishment is small but I didn't need to worry at all. I would definitely recommend Meadowland B&B to friends and family thinking of visting that part of the UK and we will certainly stay there again if we find oursleves in the area.

“Really Nice!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2009

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend as a quick getaway to explore Bath. The proeprty is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre, which is a big hill but easy to get a cab if needed. The house itself is down a residential road with ample parking (both off st and road). There are only 3 rooms and we stayed in the King Room which was huge. It has the most comfortable bed ever and the shower is very powerful! Everywhere is immaculate and clean and we never had to ask for anything. Breakfast was delicious, you order this the night before and turn up at your chosen time.
John and Catherine are very friendly and happy to recommend things to do etc.. we found plenty of leaflets in our room which recommened where to go, eat out etc....
Highly recommend!! :).

“Clean and friendly B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2008

The room I stayed in was HUGE, comfortable and very clean. The staff/proprietors were friendly and helpful.

This B&B is a very pleasant half hour walk from the centre of Bath, or a super-quick bus ride.

My only complaint was the mattress was a bit too soft and springy for my liking.

“Wonderful Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2008

We throughly enjoyed our stay with the Andrew's. The rooms are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. The breakfast was delicious in a nice little dinning area. It's a bit of a walk from town, but all downhill on the way there. Would stay with them again.

“!!Great place to stay!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2008

We found this fantastic Guest House on the "Visit England" site, and booked it over the phone after having a look on www.meadowlandbath.co.uk.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed, and shown to our room. We booked the Super king room. It was big, well decorated and very clean. We had an en-suite, with a lovely big bath, ample room for two! with a powerful shower. From a girls point of view, you never seem to have enough light in a hotel room, this wasn’t the case here. The mirror in the bathroom has great lighting for makeup.

An extra special touch was the Sherry tray, I’m not a sherry drinker but it tasted really nice, there was no added charge for the sherry, and it was re-filled everyday!

I am a bed snob and have a super king extra comfortable bed at home, the bed at Meadowland was like home from home.

You can take breakfast from 8-9, you pre order what you want and the time you want it, If you choose to have everything on the menu, it totals a scrumptious full breakfast: bacon, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, cooked cherry tomatoes, potato cake, and a choice of eggs, poached fried or scrambled, go with the scrambled, they were SO TASTEY!!!

All in all it was a great place to go and if I ever go to Bath again, I wouldnt stay anywhere else. 10/10
