I stayed at this hotel last night and was ok with the very tired decor as it was just a necessary bolt hole for 1 night but I was very uneasy when I discovered long dark hairs in the bed and over the pillows and sheets and an unclean smell from the sheets!!! I was too tired to complain and just covered the sheets and pillow with my clothes to sleep. At £55 per night for a single room it was not cheap, so I expected better!

Extremely friendly staff sorted 2 weary shopfitters out very quickly indeed, we were shown 2 'compact' rooms which believe me were more than big enough.Anybody wanting an ultra modern room had better look elsewhere because this hotel has got georgian character.Parking is straight across from the hotel although expensive (we ended up parking the vans 1.5 miles away because it was free and we were there for 12 days).Bath itself is a beautiful place but lacks takeaways for the working man,too many expensive poncey coffee shops for my liking, would be nice for a weekend trip !

Well i was going to stay here nicola although the reviews seem to be repeating theselves... In any aspect i dont think you should give rooms to customers actually knowing what state they are in... Standards should be high in every room! From these reviews its absolutlt disgusting and saying your dissapointed customers feel like that isnt good enough! Yes ok a refurb is in order.good! But the rooms that are not up to high standards should not be availiable to customers and closed off untill done... The rooms are the most important when staying in a hotel many thanks katie

My partner and I received a buy-a-gift voucher for Christmas and this is one of the hotels listed where we could stay. We wanted to stay at the end of January I was told there were rooms availible. When I mentioned I had a voucher I was then told there weren't any rooms availible with the voucher! This frustrated me as surely these hotels want to be on the buy-a-gift website and yet they don't seem to want to accommodate people with the vouchers. Surely if they have rooms availible it shouldn't matter whether you have a voucher or not!?!. Anyway we were very much looking forward to staying at this hotel and visiting Bath but doesn't look we're going to get the chance!
yes, you can say refurbishment is needed... ...which is happening but, overall this is a really welcoming hotel, with good food and great staff
eight of us stayed for the New year break and all of us enjoyed it greatly. it was the best "package" we have ever had.
it is conveniently located and whilst you are with them, the staff go out of their way to look after you.
we are all going back
