Tiny cramped fussily decorated room - ok it's a very old building - but charging hotel prices, £85 a night for a double, without hotel (or pub/inn) facilities. Ludlow is a foodie town so you don't really want standard cooked breakfast when cafes, cheese shop, market etc beckon, and you're still full of dinner from the previous evening. Nice fresh berries though. Little sitting room downstairs where breakfast is served is very hard to use freely at other times of day as it's such a small and public space, so you are left cooped up in the bedroom when not out and about. Parking meters add to cost if you come by car. Wifi offered, but did not work.
