Went to Ironbridge Gorge as a child with the school. This year I took my son there, found that due to health and safety regulations there were many parts we could no longer go to as they were fenced off, but there were many more museums. Enginuity has lots of gadgets to keep the children occupied, the museums have a lot of interesting things to see, the tar tunnel not so easy to get to from the china factory with our disabled son, had to go on my own, but the tar doesn't smell as some would expect as it's cold. Took us four days to see all of it, as there certainly is a lot to see, and of course we went to Blists Hill three times just so we could visit their wonderful bakery (You need to get there around the middle of the day) Disappointed that Robert Harrop Designs was shut on the Saturday afternoon, and the Pipe Works doesn't open until May, so we never made it to those. Apart from that it was great to see, and the Premier Inn in Central Telford was a great place to stay.
