““A Rare Find Indeed.””

The Library House is one of those wonderful discoveries. The attention to detail is amazing and our stay felt like visiting friends. Lizzie and Fizz (the adorable family dog) were great hosts and made our party of four felt instantly welcome.

Everywhere you look there is an interesting artefact or picture, skilfully placed, lovingly chosen. The coffee and cake on our arrival was much appreciated and after a busy day, a glass of wine went down well.

Our room (The Eliot Bedroom) was tastefully furnished with everything we could have wanted (coffee, tea, bottled water, lovely toiletries and even a few sweets). It was peaceful and quiet but afforded a peep down the short cobbled lane, across to the river and wooded hillside. Our friends fell in love with their very comfortable Milton Room.

The excellent breakfast gave us plenty of choice and was beautifully presented. Parking in the nearby car park was easy with the complimentary guest permit. How I wish that we could have stayed longer.

“All you could wish for in a tip-top B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

I stay overnight in Telford on business a couple of nights a year, and until I found The Library House in Ironbridge I stayed in local hotels. I couldn't believe my luck when I happened upon The Library House three or four years ago. The standard of accommodation is excellent with quiet, dark, pleasant "English country house hotel" style rooms and very comfortable beds, and ensuite bathrooms, the breakfast is great with fruit, yogurt, and the full English, and Linda the owner is friendly, cheerful and efficient.

And my wife was charmed too when we stayed as a couple!

“Ironbridge - gorgeous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

The minute we walked through the front door we were made to feel 'at home' at the Library House. A friendly welcome and we were shown to our exqusitely appointed room (Milton) and offered afternoon tea, coffee and cake in the lounge by our very helpful host. Of course we (like countless guests before us) instantly fell in love with Fizz the terrier as she too made us feel welcome by sitting on our feet as we ate the cake (funny how she left us when we'd eaten it all! :-) )

Our room was very comfortable and had every facility we needed. The whole house oozes quality throughout, from the artwork on the walls to the bedroom curtains and bed-linen. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and more than enough to set anyone up for the day .

Next time we visit Ironbridge there will be only one place for us to consider staying - the Library House - nothing else could ever come close to equalling, let alone bettering, it.

“Hit the jackpot with this B&B”

My wife and I stayed here for just the one night, but from the moment you walk through the door and are invited to take tea or coffee in the sitting room with homemade cake, you know it is going to be an enjoyable stay. Our room had all the charm and nice touches that mark out a quality establishment, and the breakfast choice in the morning was second to none. With this accommodation and a meal at the Restaurant Severn, we really struck the jackpot. I would recommend The Library House without hesitation.
