I was looking for somewhere to stay at short notice due to a bereavement in my family. I spoke with the landlady and made a right mess of the booking (wrong arrival and departure day). I called and the booking was easily corrected without any fuss or charges. Rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is good.
If you need good clean accomanation with friendly service and a good solid breakfast do not hesitate to book here you will not be dissapointed.
Location, location, location. In a quiet residential neighborhood, not far from the city centre, only 10 minutes walk from Hunters Bar and Ecclesall Rd., where there are some excellent restaurants plus frequent bus service into town. Sheila and Roy are great hosts who go out of their way to make one's stay enjoyable. Breakfasts are very good and always an occasion for some pleasant conversation with Sheila. Rooms are spacious and clean. My wife and I have stayed here on two consecutive visits to Sheffield and wouldn't wish to stay anywhere else.
I have stayed here many times when on business in Sheffield. It is very clean, the lady who runs it is most welcoming and she cooks a fantastic breakfast. Each room has a TV and DVD player, plus tea/coffee facilities. It is close to Hunters Bar/Eccleshall Road area.
