Fantastic and polite staff, great food, good location,fantastic room,very clean .A fantastic stay I highly recomend this hotel.

rooms are fine apart from the heating, and sink in main room not bathroom, the heater is above the door as you walk in the room in a slight entrance alcove right next to the thermostat therefore the room itsself can be moderate to cold but right by the door is toastie.

receptionist upon leaving, bad mannered unattentive and in serious need of some customer interaction skills ignored myself to deal with 2 other people at the reception during checking me out, did not offer the sleep refund guarantee until pressed to do so and a bad example of an employee that spoils the hotel experience

I always write correct remarks, the hotel is lovely and modern, but has one major downfall, inside the room is the sink for washing your hands, cleaning your teeth etc. We could not believe that an ultra modern hotel, with large bedrooms, all have this design. It is not great, if you were sharing with someone and wished to have some privacy when using the sink. which should be in the bathroom or en-suite, all rooms are the same, and apparently we were told it is the only premier inn like this. When you have been to the toilet, you have to go through the door to the sink, to wash your hands and then go back into the toilet to get a towel, not even a hand rail by the sink. Very dissappointed, and totally unhygenic. we stay in lots of premier inns, but would not stay in this one again, cant believe no one has said anything before, I always use trip advisor and if this had been mentioned in a review, i would have booked elsewhere in sheffield to stay.

This is one of the best stays I've ever had.

The location of the hotel is great- near the Moor on one side, and Waitrose on the other, so shopping is easy. Costs less than GBP 5 to get to the Coach/Rail station.

The room is good, with all amenities to be expected at its (and even above) price range. One did wish for a mini refrigerator, if it isn't asking for too much! Rooms, linen are clean, pillows comfortable, air conditioning accurately adjustable. Flat panel TV has a number of channels. A hair dryer is provided. The shower and loo is clean, though there was no fancy toiletries- just a shower gel.

Service is immaculate. I couldn't locate the TV's power switch, and wasn't carrying a socket adapter for my phone- both were attended to immediately.

The Premier Breakfast- for just 8 GBP, is amazing. all you can have of all you can imagine, including grilled (not fried) bacon. Cheese was missing from the buffet though. At the restaurant, my dinner took too long to arrive, but was provided FOC for that reason.

All rooms are quiet as none face the main road, and the lobbies can be accessed only by swiping the room card after exiting the lifts.

The only flaw I could identify was when I reached at about 11.30PM for my check in, the main entrance was difficult to access. I sneaked in through the automatic door when someone else swiped his card!
