The service here is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are minimalist but good. The bed is a bit harder than some people would like, but we loved. We booked the night before so paid a bit more than others have, but it was still good value.

The rooms are sparse, the tea isn't great, but there is a discount on parking (very close to the hotel) and the location of the hotel to the rail station couldn't be closer. Some rooms in the hotel have beautiful views of the Blade at dawn.

I like this hotel and will definitely be returning.

This hotel is really near the station, perfect for what we wanted. It is the usual Ibis format but very welcoming. Rooms very pleasant. We had a sort of pod as a bathroom with everything you need. No shampoos etc if you are interested in that. Beds comfortable. I rang them after booking on line to ask for a twin room at the back. This was done. Unfortunately they did not manage to put keep out a noisy guest in our corridor. We were too tired to phone down but should have done. It spoilt our visit though. Shame. We did not try the breakfast due to earlier comments. The station wasn't good enough for that unless you want a sandwich or the usual muffins . We should have tried a cafe. So we made that mistake too!

We booked this hotel mainly because of the price which was fantastic,we also booked it because its only a 2 min walk from the train station which was good as we had a suitcase each,The hotel is central to shops pubs and clubs if thats what your looking for ,We were visiting family so it was close to where they stay which was good.
