10 people aged from 24 - 87 staying for a family wedding in Reading.
Arrived to find the 'owners' out. Had to hang around in the carpark waiting to be let in. Turned out the owners were away so a young woman had been left in charge. The rooms were absolutely filthy. Bottom sheets didn't actually fit the beds so were just layed on top. Didn't want to put our bare feet on the floor as it was so dirty. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months so had to try and shower without actually getting the shower! All bedrooms were the same. The full english breakfast left a lot to be desired - the sausages were mini chipolatas and we were all worried that as it was so dirty we would be ill!
As we stayed at the same time as the Henley Regatta and we needed 5 rooms we had no option but to grin and bear it but would rather have paid double than stayed here.
