Stayed here for over 6 months and saw a lot of changes, new beds, bedding decor.
Big safe car park, breakfast was good and cooked to order.
Manager and his wife very welcoming and could not do enough to help.
Best pup in Reading at the bottom of the road. Bonus.

On the positive side the owners were very friendly and pleasant at all times. However I paid £60 for a tiny room with a single bed. The TV never worked - I could not get reception for most of the channels. The hotel claimed they had free wireless but I could never access it and the staff availabe when I went to ask did not know anything about it. Breakfast was basic and I ended up with a bad stomach all day which I can only assume was caused by it. The night before I had stayed at the IBIS Hotel in Reading for £75 - so unless you really cannot get in to other hotels do not consider this one.

excellent standard of accommodation and service, very friendly and helpful management team, had to stay 3 night with 2 of friends from work, we all had seperate rooms and all with great decor and facilities, i think these guys have recently completed complete overhall of the facility and with very very good taste, we loved it, recomended highly for short or long stay, great breakfast every day, brilliant, oh by the way they don,t have restaurant but can offer home cooked food, which was fantastic. thanks guys, have passed your details to other members of staff for any future needs, cheers

Stayed here 1 night in may with wife & teenage son who was attending a job interview the following morning which meant myself and wife had all morning and noon to kill . Spoke with owner who let us keep 1 of the rooms free of charge till early afternoon even though check out was in morning , no complaint from me. Rooms basic but clean, breakfast full english ok for money and staff and owner freindly
