Hotel Rooms are Roomy, Staff are very good the service is the best thing about this hotel, Food ok portions are a bit small ( the cod ).. but the quality of food is good. You have to drive to this location and there isnt a lot to do around the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, it has had a new "wing" built and it feels modern and funky. Our room had a lovely bathroom (great white company cosmetics), a huge comfortable bed. The pool is great, really nice Jacuzzi too. We traveled with our 9 month old and we used the pool, people were friendly and helpful.

We asked for a late check out and was given one free of charge, which was very nice of the hotel desk staff.

The location is perfect for the M4 and football ground, but not for city centre.

Overall a really nice hotel. definitely 4* standard. The hotel is big, flash and modern, it is not a classic old style country house hotel.

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding at the nearby L'Ortolan. The staff were friendly and helpful, our club room was perfect in every sense. The leisure facilites were intimate and relaxing.

The night before the wedding we ate in the restaurant with the bride-to-be. The quality of the meal and the service were outstanding and the cost represented surprisingly good value. We all compared this experience with the Mitchelin star L'Ortolan and concluded it was actually better - I would recommend it unreservedly. The breakfast too, was outstanding. The only minor drawback if you are using this hotel for leisure purposes is that it is a business hotel foremost, the foyer and bar areas therefore lack intimacy - but the Jazz Cafe which forms part of the stdium campus is a great alternative.

Stayed here with a group from work for a team meeting, followed by the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre's Christmas dinner/"All the fun of the fair" package.

Check-in was very efficient and personable with our group being looked after together.

I had one of the rooms overlooking the atrium which provided a first view of the evening's entertainment and dining. I wasn't really aware of any noise from outside, though others commented that you could still hear things.

The rooms are quite large, including the bathroom, which was well lit. The bed was very comfortable and there is lots of space to sit, relax and work.

The water pressure was good as was the temperature of the hot water. I appeared to need to set the room thermostat quite high though before the blower started to emit warm air. The TV appeared to have a large number of digital channels. A tea and coffee making kit was located above the fridge, which was empty, i.e. there wasn't a mini-bar. Within the large wardrobe was an electronic safe.

Breakfast was good. A wide choice of both hot and cold buffet items, with attentive service.
Check-out was again very quick and personable and the concierge promptly ordered the required taxis.

This is a well-designed hotel, with very wide corridors and places to sit and relax on the guest floors.

Wifi was supposed to be free, but even with the password, my iPhone wasn't able to connect.

This is probably not the first choice for a tourist holiday stay, but if you're working in one of the neighbouring business parks, or attending an event at the adjoined conference centre, then you can't go wrong.
