Must start by saying that the staff at this hotel are really well managed. They are polite, accommodating and pull together when needed. At a busy time at breakfast I noticed the management assisting and was very impressed. However, probably outside of their control is the on costs at this hotel. Wifi is extorniate price as is breakfast and food. I was booked in by a company but I wouldn't of chosen this hotel if I had the choice because of prices. I always look for free wifi and would take a slightly less equipped hotel who supplied this.

Stayed on Sunday 29th January 2012. Could do with some maintenance. Radiator was broken and in the cold weather you felt it.

Looks like a good hotel but on arrival the sports bar was closed, and the restaurant was closed. Only option was the poor bar food. They are so antiquated in their business. They charge £6 an hour for wifi. I can't remember the last time I stayed at a hotel who charge for wifi. Even McDonald's give free wifi. During breakfast you are waiting for them to replenish the buffet. Everything has a charge and no element of added value to the customer so you leave feeling like you are just a cash transaction. Taking that into account why is it better than a premier inn. The answer is probably not!

This was my second stay at this hotel and on the whole it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and were happy for me to park my car there from 9am even though I couldn't check in until later. My room, on the ground floor, was clean and had a massive bed (two singles joined together). Bathroom was a little dated but nothing to complain about. My parents' room was on the first floor and we think the bathroom had been renovated but without much thought as the toilet was very low to the ground, making it rather uncomfortable for anyone with long legs!
The leisure facilities are adequate for what is essentially a business-centred hotel. Jaccuzz was a good temperature and the sauna was lovely. My only criticism is that on Sunday morning they had sectioned off the pool with one side for adults only lane swimming. This was a great idea for those of us wanting to do laps but they gave us the shorter, oddly shaped side and left the longer, straight bit for the kids to mess around in.Seemed a little illogical!

The only thing that spoilt the stay for us was the discourtesy of other guests. Both me and my parents were woken up around midnight by children running around the corridors screaming and shouting. My dad got out of bed to complain and was told by the woman "supervising" them that she had 20 kids to look after because all the parents were in a meeting (at 11:30 on a Saturday night?). We appreciate that this is not the fault of the hotel but thought it should be mentioned.
The hotel staff were very apologetic the next morning when we complained and said they would escalate the complaint to the manager. They took contact details to they could follow this up with us.

When you arrive in the dark the first impression regarding this hotel is not bad at all. Lobby and restaurant are ok so far. You get something to eat and to drink in a more or less good atmosphere. - Just when you enter your room you are not really convinced that you did a good choice. Everything seems to need a renovation and looks a kind of bedraggled.
