Stayed here on a Winter Break Special with dinner, bed and breakfast included, which worked out to be very good value. Thoroughly nice staff who were always cheery and happy to help - they really did help make it a nice stay. Lovely food served in the restaurant, and very large portions. Great pub area as well, with a real buzz on the Friday night and a mostly 30/40+ age group clientelle when we were there. Good breakfasts and locals pop in for breakfast in the bar as well. Although our room was very nice, I wouldn't have been happy paying £150 a night b&b as although described as a "hotel", it is a pub and restaurant with rooms, alebit very nice; there is not a lounge area. Having said that, I suspect this is the going rate for the area, being so close to Blenheim. We enjoyed our stay and if we are back in the area, would definitely stay again on a weekend package rate.
