We had a classis afternoon tea here today, it was faultless, freshly made sandwiches, homemade sones & jam, plus two slices of cake plus coffee. Everywhere was clean, the staff were really nice & nothing was to much trouble. Thanks folks.

Stayed at the DofM while walking Shakespeare's Way from Stratford to Oxford. We had struggled to find accommodation in the right location so our expectations were fairly low.

Such a pleasant surprise to find a spacious and comfortable room, high-quality food and extremely friendly and helpful staff. My venison pie was extremely tasty and very good value - breakfast also was well prepared and presented.

During our stay we had a number of requests - borrowing an ironing board, directions to Blenheim, delaying dinner after an unplanned visit by a friend - all of these were met with a courteous, prompt and helpful response.

Staff picked up that the following day was my birthday - and had decorated our breakfast table appropriately! A lovely touch and a great start to my day.

We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and would recommend it to anyone seeking accommodation for Woodstock or Blenheim but not needing to be in the town centre.

We arrived in London, hired a car and drove NW looking for accommocation and came across the Duke Of Marlborough. It was exactly as we hoped UK pubs would be - great atmosphere, home made meals, cold beer, warm fireplace and staff who were helpful beyond belief. We will definitely staying again next year.

My wife and I stayed one night on 13th May. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated.
We had dinner in the pub in the evening and both the food and the hospitality were exceptional.
Thank you to Derek, the owner, for making my wife's birthday very special by taking time to join us and having a good chat. I'm sure he was very busy but he gave up his valuable time which was most appreciated. The other staff were very helpful and accommodating.
