Pleasant and friendly B&B on the edge of Woodstock and close to Blenheim Palace; the website gives a useful map. The road is a bit narrow, so parking needs care but isn’t too difficult. Don’t be put off by the apparent size of the house from outside – it’s a ‘Tardis’ inside. Kay, the ‘landlady’, was very helpful and able to give useful advice on local attractions.
Rooms are not large but well worked out to give all the facilities you need, including coffee and tea in the room. Rooms are all en-suite, with colour TV and ceiling fans for the summer. Beds are a good size and very comfortable, with 2 different pillows each to give a choice. The place was spotlessly clean and breakfast, in the separate dining room, was excellent with a wide choice which should suit anyone.
Prices vary (see website) but we paid £60 for a double and £45 for single occupancy (end June).
