we booked this accomodation three nights before our visit, tempted by the location. we found it difficult to find and once there had to battle through a bus queue to get in the main door. the entrance was just a corridor at the end of which were stairs leading up to the reception desk. we were greeted by a very nice receptionist who gave us our keys and the manager (I presume thats who it was) took my husband to the secure car park that we had paid to leave our car in. having somewhere to park was an advantage even if it was a walk away and the only way we could access it was if the manager came with us to unlock the barrier!
our room was dreadful. there was mould on the wall under the window, the blanket had holes in it, some of the coat hangers in a very small haning space were so old and bent they couldn't be used. the shower was and absolute nightmare. We couldn't turn it off! after a very disturbed night due to the noise of the people coming in and out of the nightclub below and the booming of the music, we mentioned the shower to the receptionist aho said it would be sorted and asked for more pillows. when we returned from our day out, none of this had been looked at.
The television reception was awful and only had the main four channels so we couldn't even drown ouselves in the box!
At this point, having paid for two nights, we left and came home. it seemed pointless asking again and quite frankly, we just wanted to get out so forfeited our second night!
Don't even think about this one!!!
