I think this is a straight up 3 star property. We stayed 1 night and it offered a very Holiday Inn experience. Large, clean rooms with easy check in and a trouble free night - a bit impersonal I thought. It seems to cater to businesspeople, large groups and conferences/training courses.
This hotel is located just off the motorway and has the typical fast food joints and other 2/3 star hotels in a complex type arrangement on the edge of Oxford.
We had dinner at the hotel as we had arrived quite late - again it was OK but nothing great = 3 star. The Maitre d' the night we were there was an Indian guy and he was excellent. We took the time to compliment him on the feedback form that was offered. He was a standout among a fairly sorry lot of bar staff and waiters.
I would look elsewhere if I go to Oxford again, I think I would prefer a character property in the centre over this sterile place.
Breakfast was pretty good in a simple buffet style
