“Top b&b”

As other reviewers have commented, Jane and Richard are fantastic hosts: welcoming, helpful and efficient. The location is great and our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We were upgraded to a larger room which may have had the slight disadvantage of being a little noisy as it faced the street. The bathroom was large, modern and really good. The breakfasts are superb - a fabulous choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and a gourmet hot dish cooked to order. Thank you Jane and Richard!

“A beautiful weekend away...”

Richard and Jane are simply the perfect hosts. Thoughtful, considerate, accommodating, friendly and committed to making sure you have the most comfortable stay whilst respecting the fact that you've come to get away from it all. They have struck the perfect balance of attentiveness whilst respecting the need for privacy. They give you free reign of the house so you can come and go as you please and because they are there only in the mornings you really do feel that you have the place to yourselves. The room we had was stunning, classic and uber romantic. I fell in love with the room almost as much as with the lovely man that took me there! It was big, light and airy. Being at the top of the house it felt really cosy. The bed was covered in plush cushions, sumptuous curtains and soft lighting that gave the effect of the room being candle lit, so romantic. The colour scheme was delicate soft champagne and antique blue, there was an amazing floor to ceiling mirror and the shower perfectly sized for two! Breakfast is Richard's forte, he prepares the most delicious breakfasts perfect to fuel hearty walks along the river or up GInger bread hill. Last but not least you step out your front door into the heart of Henley whilst never hearing a peep from the world outside once you are in the rooms, this really is the best of both worlds. We had the most magical weekend, I can't recommend this guesthouse enough for a romantic get away!

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms at the top of the house, they are large but because they are attic rooms they are...

“Fantastic B&B in the heart of Henley”

Booked this B&B at the last minute and could not have been more happy and impressed! Jayne was extremely helpful and accommodating, arrranging to meet us at the B&B at a time that suited. Our room was on the top floor and was immaculate and beautifully appointed, with a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast showed a real attention to detail and was truly delicious. This B&B is bang in the middle of Henley, so don't be surprised if you hear just a little evening noise in the front rooms, but i would highly recommend this B&B to anyone! Thankyou Jayne!!

“Stayed here for 6 weeks. Deserves ****** (6 stars!)”

Whilst I did some contract work in Reading, I needed somewhere local, comfortable and safe to stay. I wandered into Falaise House one afternoon in September, when I was staying in another b & b. Jane was very helpful and showed me one of the rooms, which was lovely. After that, I booked up for two nights every week for six weeks. This is a HOTEL not a b & b, with 'to die for' furnishings (must renovate my bathroom!) and a great location.

I fell in love with Henley and would love to live there. There's a great choice of pubs and restaurants in town, and great walks by the river. Richard and Jane provided lovely breakfasts every day and nothing was too much trouble.

It was also very good value for money. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. The best room (I stayed in 5!) is the Remenham on the top floor, with double aspect windows. Took some photos before I left, to prove I can stay in 'glam' surroundings.

Richard and Jane, I will be back. May be the Literary Festival with my second, best selling book!

Room Tip: The corner bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floor are the biggest. Remenham is the tops for luxury, with a c...

“Wonderful experience”

This is a wonderful B&B far exceeding our expectations which were already high. Our hosts, Mr. and Mrs Morgan, were genuinely friendly and showed a willingness to do whatever was necessary to ensure a pleasant stay. Our room faced the church and square yet was quiet and peaceful. The appointments reflected not only good taste but a desire to provide a lovely environment for their guests. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up! The breakfast was delicious. This is a great value.
