Stopped over in the Park Hotel for a couple of nights. Was on foot, & it was a long way from the railway station, don't be fooled by the map distance, it's all up steep hills from the station & a real hike so you need to take the tram up, don't walk unless you want a work out, the hotel is up on 1 of the highest hills at the top of the city
Price for a single room was very reasonable. Impressive building, well kept gardens, decor to good modern standard.
Single room was small but well presented, good bed & room furniture, with a modern tv & all the basics well provided for. Bathroom & wash linen all to a high modern standard, as was the maid's service.
Enjoyed my stay, would recommend for any1 visiting Nottingham.
