This is a decent business hotel in a great location in Nottingham. I've come back many times and there never any surprises. It won't wow you, but it won't disappoint either. Good value for the money. Needs to get with the times and include wifi for all business travellers.

I stayed at the Park Plaza Nottingham for one night on a business trip. The location of the hotel is great, but as you often find in city hotels there is no parking on site which is a little inconvenient. However, there is an NCP across the road.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and my room was very clean, though unfortunately the bathroom was cold...a minor irritation. I had room service for my evening meal and breakfast, both were OK.

My room was functional but needed a bit of an update. This hotel charges for extras such as wifi in the room and they have a phone charging point in the lobby which is charged too.

The hotel was fine, but I would try to find something better next time in Nottingham.

Stayed here for one night with hubby to attend a party in December. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and functional - pretty much what you would expect from a modern city center hotel. I just find this hotel lacking in atmosphere. I must have hit on a bad day as the staff never seemed to smile and were certainly not very welcoming. I would also advise getting room only and have breakfast elsewhere. Ours was cold, not very good and the area where you have breakfast is really dark and uncomfortable. I would probably check out what is available elsewhere in Nottm before staying here.

I booked this hotel as I was having a night out in Nottingham. Normally, I would not bother with a 4* hotel for a quck visit but as it was so cheap £46 (same price as Travelodge) I went for it.

The standard of the hotel and the rooms generally where what you would expect for a 4* hotel and therefore I had no complaints.

The thing that set the hotel apart was the staff. By taking a general interst in the purpose of my visit when checking in the receptionist was able to furish me with the information I needed without me having to ask, such as taxi's, bars and restaurants and general directions and advise. She even drew me a map of where I was meeting my friends without me having to ask - brilliant!!

On checking out, on asking what my plans were for the day (which was to go straight home) the receptionist asked if I required directions to the M1

This all sounds very simple, but sadly small touches like this are missed in most hotels and the experience is very transactional, which was not the case on this occassion.

In summary, hotel standard is as you would expect, the staff are top rank.
