The hotel is really good, in a central location and near a tram route. I was on the 8th floor on the Club level, lots of perks including complimentary food and drinks all day, with wine and beer available on an evening. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was surprised to see ear plugs, but at 3:00 am I saw why they are essential. There is a music venue opposite the hotel, the main noise are Taxi drivers hooting their horns to get through the crowds. Why the Police don't act on this is beyond me. That is the only downside for me, earplugs in and a good nights sleep. Bathroom is typical for a hotel of this age, not the best but equally not the worst. Breakfast is good both the paid one and the Club Lounge one. Wi-fi is for a fee, with very limited roaming access. Would stay here again.

I slept in an Executive room: it had very old decoration and furniture, some lights didn't work, the heating system was so noisy that you can't sleep with it on.
The bathroom is old fashion and little.
You also need to pay 15 pounds to have internet and 12 pound for the car park which is belong to the hotel.
Beside the location, nothing worth to stay in this hotel.

I had booked a room here as a surprise for my husband as we were going out in nottingham that night and I was disappointed for a number of reasons. Whilst the hotel itself was nice and the room aswell, it took nearly 20 minutes to check in. When I arrived at the room I was disappointed to find no champagne bucket and glasses which Id phoned ahead to ask for and had previously been told would be no problem. The next morning we went down to breakfast only to be told that we didnt have it with our room rate. I explained that I was sure we had but the waitress was very rude and insisted we didnt. Luckily I was then able to check my booking on my phone and found that it did indeed say breakfast included. We returned to the waitress and showed her the email. She was once again rude in front of other quests and made us feel really embarrassed. A disappointing stay.

Very good hotel in central Nottingham.

Excellent rooms spotless very comfortable bed excellent bathroom with really good selection of toiletries. The hotel staff very helpful any request you made they sorted out very friendly

Evening meal mixed starter of black pudding,haggis and apple tower and dessert of apple crumble excellent absolutely first class, main course not as good fish & chips fish was pre battered and chips were too thin (but then I'm spoilt I live by the sea) drinks also very reasonable. Breakfast excellent in both quality and quantity very good choice for breakfast. Table staff very efficient & friendly.

No real negative points at all the only thing I could find was a small hole in a bathrobe but in all an excellent hotel which is a credit to it's management & staff
