Stayed here in room with two double beds on second floor at the rear of the hotel. On booking asked for a quiet room and we were placed at the end of the corridor as far from the lifts as possible. There were lots of people staying for the night whilst partying in town so we thought we may be disturbed. Thankfully, both nights proved to be very quiet, even with the window open.
The room was comfortable, clean and with plenty of wardrobe, drawer space. Usual style bathroom. The bar was very quiet, but that suited us. Breakfast was very good, range of juices, cereals, cold meats etc. together with hot buffet. All the staff we met were very pleasant. We would stay again.

I have stayed at this property on a number of occasions over the last several years. I have to say however that its really starting to deteriate. The reception staff seem to get ruder every time I go, and you have the standoff of having prepaid your room, some reception staff still insist on a credit card even though you tell them you will not be having extras. The room temperature is an issue. If you like a red hot temperature room then this could be the place for you, if not you have a choice have an uncomfortable hot room, or open the window and listen to traffic outside. Breakfast, give it a miss. The meat products are becoming very poor standard and its just not worth the money.

Found the whole stay really annoying really.
Double beds when you can have king size cheaper next foor at premier inn.
Receptionist when checking in the first week was rude and didn't even look people in the eye.
2 x receptionists the second week sent be to floor 3 when room was actually on the second floor even after I had checked as it didn't sound quite right but sent me there anyway.
The wifi is charged at over £10 for a 24 hour period which at the price of the room and in 2012 I am surprised its not included.
Towels on one occasion smelled as if they had been dried in a room cooking fried food.
The worst part of it if you are staying on the 1st floor at 6.30 in the morning you are woken up by the cleaners getting equipment out of the closets but banging and crashing in the corridor, walls and doors seem quite thin, you can pretty much hear everything going on.

Ok I suppose if you were paying budget hotel prices but its not on really.

I never expect much budget hotels but I booked very last minute here. In the twin room there are comfy double beds, room is spacious and shower is good. May I note that the room is very quiet. Free parking.
