The hotel staff were so friendly, we were made to feel as though we were staying in a family home. The breakfast was marvellous with plenty of choice and all freshly prepared.
A very nice touch was a full sized guest fridge situated outside of the bedroom area.
We were invited to light the prepared open fire, which we did and enjoyed a picnic meal in front of a blazing fire, using crockery and cutlery provided by the hotel.
There are no eating places nearby so this is something to bear in mind.

Lovely house, friendly welcome, huge and well cooked breakfast with homemade granola and jams. Surrounded by beautiful walking country. Will be back very soon.

This hotel was recommended by friends who had stayed and it didn't disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and it was the quietest nights sleep i've had in years. The rooms were beautiful, full of character and very clean.
We fell in love with the place's charm and would definitely go back, especially as it is such good value for money.
