A one night break with mum was disastrous. Heating didn't work until evening on a cold wet day; running water heard all afternoon from bathroom (door of which was unlockable);paper coming off ceiling and laminate flooring faulty and a trip hazard; damp duvet and lumpy matress; TV only working on one channel and visible from only part of the room;lightbulb missing from bedside lamp;only five plastic chain store hangers in wardrobe (different chain stores!) and forgotten at breakfast - broken toaster - half used marmalade pot.
For a price of £80 we could have had a pleasant stay somewhere else. The only pleasant aspect of thiis place was the friendliness of the two staff members we met.

Great spot. £39 bed and breakfast. Great steak pie supper. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Stayed with mates when we were up fishing on The Tyne

“A good place to stay. Helpful staff.”
This is one of the cheaper places to stay in Hexham. However, it is very acceptable. Clean, across the road from railway station, 5 mins walk to the Cathedral and the staff are helpful.

“A fantastic place to stay with a family”
Me and my wife traveled down from scotland with our four children with the intention to tour a round Northumberland.
Well as soon as we got to Hexham we saw the Station Inn imdeatly my first thoughts were what a beautiful place to stay.As soon as we entered we were meet by the most friendly.
We booked the family room which had just been refurbished to a high standard with a nice new en-suite,
The food and drink was great with none of the added pressure of having children in a b/b they all made me and my wife feel very welcome
.Ive seen some of the reviews on the internet but must say this place is a real find and I will stay again .(FANTASTIC)
