If you are looking for excellent food, very nice accommodation or both, you will not be disappointed at the Roade House. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and the food is pretty special. Roade is a lovely village and there is an excellent pub just across the road if you fancy taking the air.

Visited on Bonfire night, to have a meeting & a meal afterwards, the menu had a good choice, & when I asked if the venison was slow cooked & dissapointed it wasn't I was offered a venison stew thet the chef had prepared for the following day, It was FAB, lovely home baked bread & nice surroundings... ... ...

I work in Milton Keynes and have been staying in the Roade House Hotel for a number of weeks on and off. I can accept previous reviewers comments about the bathrooms being a bit tired however this hotel will knock spots off any "formula" hotel as typified by the usual MK offerings. The staff are absolutely brilliant and consistently make you feel welcome and as for the food... Well its just lovely. Quality is always good and if you want something a bit different then Chris and his team are always happy to try and help.
The surrounding area has some pleasant walks to unwind after a hard day at work (and to help to walk off the food!)

We stayed here overnight when attending a local wedding. They allowed us to check in early and arrive back rather late at night!
Service at all points was excellent, with polite and friendly staff. The breakfast was of high quality too.
The rooms are simple but spacious and we thought they were very good value for money.
We would definitely stay there again.
