Would not return again!! just arrived back from a short break here, although the room was very clean. Breakfast was very greasy, looked and tasted like it had been done in deep fat fryer.... Toilet did not stop dripping all night and the heating pipes started rattling from around 5am..... Expected more for my money as it wasnt cheap

Stayed here in September for 2 nights. We had room 1. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable, there was tea/coffee making facilities and tv in the room. Iron/ironing board were available on request. Breakfast was full english, cereals, toast and jam/marmalade with freash fruit juices and tea/coffee.

we stayed here while visiting york for halloween and it was wonderfull. the staff are all very friendly and really helpfull. the room was clean and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc., were provided. the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was well cook and plenty of it. will definately return.

Stayed at Park Veiw, staff very freindly, room at first looked ok, but the the longer you were in it the worse it looked, very shabby decoration and not enough room, bedding was clean and fresh,however w/c and shower room was cramped and not very clean, mould on wall in shower and the shower tray and walls could do with a good bleach !
The carpets in shower room were tatty and needed replacing. Breakfast was plentiful but over cooked and not of a very good quality.
We had stayed at Scarborough at a guest house for similar cost and everything was to our satisfaction and we have already booked for return visit next year.
