Great little B&B. The room was clean, quite spacious and had everything u need. Bathroom on a smaller side and little bit tired but the most important thing - clean. The breakfast was great, really tasty and fresh. They even had a vegetarian fry :)
The owner really lovely and hospitable. I was arriving a little bit later so the self check in was brilliant idea.
My trip wasn't for pleasure, chose this B&B because it is close to the hospital. It is like 2/3 min away. The city center is close too - about 10 min.

Good clean B&B, excellent breakfast. Single room en-suite (No. 4), very small, hardly any room to move and no chair to sit on, used the wastepaper basket with a cushion on it!

I booked to stay at Grange Lodge with my family before the night of my graduation and it was lovely. The owners were friendly, the bedrooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were the perfect size and the beds were comfortable. I was fortunate to be staying in a large twin room although I did see a single room which looked tiny but my visit wasn't affected by this. The guest house is in the perfect location to explore all of York and is in a quiet enough area to get a good nights sleep. I used the self check in system whereby I was sent the code to open the front door and then the keys to the rooms I booked were left in envelopes on the table inside. Although it was a bit strange to not be greeted by anyone the system worked really well. I would stay again.

We stayed here for a little Christmas break to do some Christmas shopping in York, The B&B is very cozy and is in a ideal location. We had a en suite double room which was very welcoming, The only downside was the very small bathroom. The breakfast is lovely and was the brilliant start to a day. Whilst we was staying at The Grange Lodge we had a very heavy snow fall and found the room to be slightly cold in the middle of the night but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would hope to go back soon!
