Recently had a very short but sweet stay at the Bronte. We drove up from London and arrived late but it seemed no trouble. Help with our bags was much appreciated as we have 2 children (7 and 1). Our room was beautifully decorated, very clean, had a lovely ensuite bathroom, our son had a little room adjoined with twin beds and a tv to himself, a clean portable crib was set out ready and it was lovely and quiet.

We woke up to see a great view of the park and the Minster. Breakfast was delicious. A perfect British B&B spread.

Very gracious, friendly hosts in a very well kept facility. We will be back here whenever we return to York and highly recommend the Bronte to anyone going to York.

My wife and I stayed here, along with another couple in September and were very happy with the B&B. The breakfast was great, the hosts were friendly, the rooms were comfortable. It's a bit of a walk from downtown but pleasant.

Lovely Victorian house situated within easy walking distance of town centre. Very clean throughout.
Miick the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and eager to help out with Ideas and recommendations for visits to the attractions and restaurants.
Very nice touches, like free mulled wine and mince pies in the hall way on your return from a day out.
All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would come back.

A short walking distance from York Minster. You will find the Bronte, it is spotless from top to bottom. We stayed in room 6, a spatious relaxing room with a so so comfy bed I didn't want to get up. I'm glad I did as the breakfast was fabulous. Mandy and Mike are exceptional hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. We will be going back. Thank you Mandy and Mike.
