Just back from three days in York staying at the Bootham Guest House. It was in a good location , quiet and a fifteen minute walk to the centre.The room was very clean, and had the usual tea/coffee making facilities aswell as a hairdrier .
Breakfast consisted of choice of three ceareal, and a cooked breakfast with choice of how your eggs were done. There was also orange juice, toast , butter and jam.and tea or coffee. All nicely cooked.
Did notice other B & B's even nearer the town centre around the same price. They were usually above an olde worlde pub which I think I may have preferred as it would have been handy to have a nightcap before going to bed , but thats just a personal preferance.
Absolutely love York, have been a few times and will be going back again .
