Fab location, easy to find, 5mins walk to city centre. Room clean and comfy although light is either too bright (lights on) on too dark (lights off) with nothing in between. Wetherspoons well placed over road for cheap breakfast! Only (major) issue we had was someone arriving back at 3am Sunday morning and setting off fire alarm! Evacuation to car park was managed wel by guests but staff were nowhere to be seen. Return to building 10mins later and returned to bed only for alarm to go again before stopping...repeat every 30secs for an hour! Staff on reception gave no apologies and only explanation was drunken guest who'd been thrown out (quite how this works when there are multiple ways into hotel I'm unsure!). Next morning we checked out and saw sheet of paper apologising, but no automatic offer of refund...this had to be specifically requested despite "great nights sleep guarantee". So...great location and good room..but don't expect them to be proactive if something goes wrong!
