Your typical english B&B done to a very good standard.
Easy to find B&B with directions from the confirmation email. On arrival there was a car park at the back which walking around Whitby is quite important as a lot don't seem to have one and parking isn't probably thre easiest in the middle of town. Friendly welcome from Gill and Martin.
Room is your typical B&B. Modern furnishings,spotless, good size room, facing front of house but not really noisy to affect your nights sleep ( i tend to sleep lightly as well) and not too hot in the night despite some very warm days when we were there. If there was one complaint in relation to the room was that the bathroom wasn't the biggest clearly being a more recent addition to a period building. A minor point compared to whole experience.
Breakfast excellent. Local produce cooked very well in big portion size. The fruit salad in the buffet delection was frsh each morning and really nice
Short walk into town down a hill which isn't really an issue as if you have problems with a slope Whitby isn't really the place for you.
Great start to our holiday, would happily stay there again and compared to some of the other B&Bs we have stayed at fantastic value for money.
