“Absolutely Lovely!”

Beautiful house, very welcoming hosts, continually surprised by all the touches that leave you feeling special during stay including home-made fairy cakes in room. They really do think of everything to make your stay very comfortable. Looked forward to breakfast each morning with much of the cooked breakfast ingredients sourced locally, including their own hens eggs and home-made marmalade - two jars of which we've brought home!

Doves circling, rabbits hopping, chickens laying, birds feeding what a picture postcard this accommodation makes. Set in the heart of the coutryside in its own idyllic setting it is a gem indeed. A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival and lasts through the duration of your stay..... looking forward to a return visit very soon............ highly recommended.

“Littlebank me Littlebank you,I didn't regret it and neither will you!”

We had more than a great time during our 2 night stay and have to admit that's it's almost upsetting not having this kind of standard to come home to on a day to day basis! Amazing hosts which answered all our questions and ticked all the boxes in every way possible.

5 star rooms plus all the little attentions to details makes you realize how other b&bs are even still in business! The true standard in hospitality :)

Its almost love!

Room Tip: All options are great as we did get a quick glance in at the rooms but obv the more you pay the bigg...

“Great expectations - more than met!”

Having read plenty of glowing reviews I decided to book a three night stay during a rather chilly January. Trish was helpfulness personified on the phone with the follow up emails clarifying directions and the terms and conditions. We arrived on a freezing Friday night to a very warm welcome. Right from the onset it's the kind of place that makes you feel so relaxed it's like being at home and somehow you feel as though you have known Richard and Trish for ages. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished and most importantly....warm. A lovely bathroom with lashing of hot water. We followed their suggestions and ate at the Lion in Settle - good food - good value.

A lovely comfy bed and total silence meant we woke up feeling refreshed each morning.

The breakfasts are excellent and provided a great start to our rail trip from Settle to Carlisle. If you can, do this journey, it is spectacular. Over the next few days they gave us sound advice on places to see and booked us in for meals. Littlebank is a great place to stay, I'd reccomend it to anyone.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely.

“A Hidden Gem”

What a fantastic experience, as an 80th birthday gift to my parents (both of whom were born in the area but left in the late 50,s) we wanted everything to be perfect and it was.
A welcoming host, beautiful wife and an outstanding place to stay. Think quirky boutique hotel with personal service from the owners rather than guest house.

We had three rooms and each one was superb, beautifully decorated throughout, the rooms were spacious, elegant and ours had an ensuite the size of a normal bedroom. Nice touches abound, flat screen tvs in the rooms, and a personal favourite - a small jar of nescafe to complement the teas and other drinks in the room.

Having stayed in many types of accomodation in the settle austwick area - this is without reservation the best!! No we are nt related to the owners

The only small reservation is that it does have a long gravelled drive, whic)h was very pot holey after the heavy rain and ice (we stayed in December), the owner was very aware of this and there were plans to resurface it shortly (in the interim if you have a low slung car would check

Room Tip: they were all good
