We read the reviews after we had booked so were expecting bad things!
However we normally pay 3 times what this costs so did not expect the same as we are used to.
Yes, the room are dreadful and dated, [they are in the middle of a refurbishment] however, the bed sheets and towels were very clean, we had a comfortable nights sleep, the room was warm, and we did not hear very much noise. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was dreadful but we expected that, the toilet seat detatched which made us laugh. Take your own soap to wash your hads as there is toiletries but no soap.
The breakfast was fine and cooked fresh to order.
Whilst we would not personally go again it is very good value and I am sure that it will be nice when all the work is finished.

We stayed here on a groupon voucher, and it was well worth the money, the rooms, if I am honest, need alot to be desired, but I understand there is a rebushiment going on, they were very clean, the staff very helpfull and friendly, breakfast was included, and wow , what a breakfast, brill chioce and nicely cooked, the location is good, near city, and alot of what Norwich has to offer, and very close to the football ground and station, would we stay here again, yes if the price was right,

Would never stay here, smells awful and although I'm sure it is clean it is so old and grubby! Staff basically said they would charge me anyway even though I couldn't bring myself to stay!

Stayed in the hotel in December and when we walked in our room we were hit by the smell of cigarettes, and the sign in the room stated that it was a smoking room.When we complained we were told the hotel was fully booked so they would spray it with an air freshener! Spent a very cold December night with the window open! The room has had better days and the sink was cracked, would I stay again .... Not a chance!
