following the previous reviews we were dreading our stay here, but were pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly & helpful, the room was clean if a little sad, but everything worked. Usual flat pillows, but always take our own now if booking a Travelodge. Enough towels for 2, lots of tea & coffee supplies for 1 night. We found it to be quiet on a Saturday night, but were on the top floor. Handy situation for town centre, parking is right next door (locked overnight, so fairly secure)Did not stay for breakfast as had an excellent meal the night before at the nearby ROTI Indian restaurant - a short walk away. For our first visit to Norwich at a bargain room rate we were pleasantly surprised & would definitely stay again.

food is disgusting, rooms are smelly, haven't seen nobody from the staff for two days at all.I stayed there for two days in December 2011.

myself and my wife stayed in this hotel in october, ok we know its a travel lodge and didnt expect much, but the whole place had a really musty smell, all the corridors, lifts and room.
the room backs onto the bus station, handy if youre travelling by bus, not so if you want to have a good nights sleep! there was enough for just 2 cups of coffee in the room so take a jar if youre going. we foolishly pre booked breakfast, which was awful and a poor selection of mushy scrambled eggs, hard sausages etc, there is a place 20 feet down the street that does breakfasts which afterwards we wished we had gone there instead at a fraction of the price, we wont be staying here again :(

Great location - close to the city centre. The room was ok...I have stayed in much nicer budget chain hotels! The bathroom was at a satisfactory level of cleanliness but the bed was awful! Sagging, uncomfortable mattress!
Our room faced onto the bus station and I was expecting it to be noisy right throughout the night - it wasn't.
Hotel staff very unfriendly. When my partner asked for a hair dryer he recieved a very abrupt reply. Alot of uncalled for attitude!
Bar is expensive! Drink outside of hotel.
We didn't stay for breakfast as it was expensive. Instead we went to sainsburys cafe across the road!
There is no hotel carpark so expect to pay NCP prices - £14 for 24 hours. The carpark is next door to the hotel.
Very disappointed with this Travelodge. I have stayed in much nicer and cleaner Travelodges.
