Really surprised by the friendly welcome and the convenience of this hotel. Great location. Didn't use the restaurant but did pop into the bar on return one evening. Really friendly and good stock of wine! I am very fussy about cleanliness and comfort and usually pick 4* and 5* hotels for this reason but I will use this hotel again. Unreservedly recommended.

This hotel is within walking distance for shopping or great restaurants. The car is safe in the multi-storey car park that has security people about at all times.....

Visiting the hotel for the second time our overall stay was excellent; if not slightly eventful. The service is always excellent as we were greeted by Rachel on our arrival who quickly processed our check with ease. After checking in, I headed to my room on the 4th floor (Room 432). As always a clean, warm, pleasant room was mine for the night. As for the food in the restaurant on an evening I cannot comment on as I always eat out at a local mexican (Mambo Jambo's) which is defiantly worth a visit if you book in advance. We had drinks in the bar, before going out to our restaurant where the bar man recognized me from our previous visit (Aug 2011). The night was finished off yet again in the bar with a few more drinks before we all headed off the bed. A peaceful night and a comfortable double bed were all I needed for a good nights sleep, and I got both!! I certainly didn't want to get out of the bed!! Clean bathrooms and excellent showers!! We met for breakfast around 8:30am on Sunday morning and breakfast was beautiful. Everything is readily available and nothing seems to phase the excellent team that this premier inn has!! The only slight hiccup we had which the staff cannot help is we had a little stay in the lift; as we got stuck!! However the duty manager and Rachel's calm and reassuring voice ensured us they were doing all the could to resolve the situation and if required the fire brigade would be contacted, however after frantically pressing the 'open door' button on the lift the door opened onto the 4th floor much to my mothers disappointment as she wouldn't of minded a visit from a fireman to finish off an excellent weekend in Norwich. On check out we were able to laugh about the lift situation and Rachel and my mum joked about the fire brigade!! Overall an excellent hotel only minuets walk from the town center. Keep up the good work guys!!
