“Very clean, warm and comfortable with friendly and helpful service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

Staying at Caversham House was a relaxing experience, I stayed for 3 nights and was made to feel very welcome. The house is decorated beautifully and has a calm atmosphere. The single bedroom was just perfect with a fantastic big bathroom. I enjoyed sitting in the lounge and looking at books and was able to have my own visitor come to eat take-away with me in the evening (dirty plates taken away and washed up too!). I felt very looked after by the owners and look forward to another stay. Great bus service into the city centre right outside the door.

“A special place; stylish friendly and with a great attention to detail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

Staying for two nights rather out of season while visiting a relative in Norwich, Caversham House fitted my requirements perfectly. When travelling alone, you want privacy but (and this is rare) a feeling of belonging and security, and this is how I would describe my stay. The house is beautiful without the rather clinical impression one can sometimes get from lovely decor; arrangements for breakfast were imaginative with guests able to help themselves from a range of healthy cold options. Those wanting to can bring in their own takeaway food at night and sit in the dining room, which was a great touch.

In summary, a memorable, peaceful and thoroughly recommended experience. Thank you.

“Fantastic personable B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2010

Caversham house is a lovely B&B situated in Norwich, it is family run and has a very warm atmosphere. The tv is an LCD and the bathroom facilities are modern and luxurious.

I would recommend it highly.

“Welcoming, Friendly and Comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2010

I recently stayed for one week at Caversham House and cannot fault the service, comfort, value for money and efficiency. My room was clean and tidy upon my return each evening with replenished tea/coffee, towels and toiletries and June and Don were extremely friendly and helpful with advice re city centre car parking, directions etc. I especially enjoyed the lounge facilities with microwave, crockery, cutlery and TV enabling me to relax and eat in during the evenings rather than having to find a restaurant each night after a hectic day. I found Caversham House exceptionally warm and welcoming whilst giving me the freedom to pursue a busy agenda.

“Home away from home, best B&B that I have stayed in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 April 2010

I have stayed at Caversham house several times over the last couple of years. I stay during the week, normally over a 2 or 3 week period.

June and Don couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I particularly like the lounge facilities where I can heat a meal, which means I don't have to dine out every night.

The rooms are excellent, breakfast is perfect for me, (I don't need a "full English") and the Caversham House Muesli is the best ever.

Can't be faulted.
