We stayed here in July 2011 as it was not far from Wembley, bout half an hours walk or few mins on the bus. The hotel appeared ok, but we should have been in our room from 2pm and as we arrived at 5pm, we expected to get in immediately. We had to wait half an hour whilst they boarded up our window, which was broken! No offer of free drink though when they sent us to wait in the bar! When we got in near midnight, the window had been replaced, but there were really tiny bits of glass in the bed! The room smelt of curry the first night, but after that the smell was restricted to the landing outside the room! The on suite bathroom was very tiny too. The information on the hotel also offered free wifi, but the only internet access we could see was pay as you go computers in the reception area. For the underground, we needed zone 4 tickets, as the hotel was just that far out of central London, so a bit more expensive. The day after I booked online, the hotel rang me to say my details had been stolen out of a locked office in the reception area, causing me to cancel my bank card and request a new one! I did notice whilst I was there that the room they talked of was not always locked! On the good side, there was a fridge and kettle in the room and a Tesco shop a couple of doors away, ideal for making packed lunch for a day out. The cooked breakfast was absolutely gorgeous too.
