No central heating so freezing said would fix it but didn't, no remote for TV.no hairdryer, had to ask for these, shower just no pressure and cold, hot tap in bathroom ran cold and visa vera!Don't use room 31 in the Astoria side you have no working phone too! Plus you have to come outside in the street to go into the Belmont Basement for breakfast and if you like a plate full of baked beans and not much else you'll be fine. We used room 32 to showeri but still no central heating and no refund so don't be a fool and pay in advance like me Brenda

we travelled as four girls not wanting to spend too much on accomodation but to experience londons sights. we arrived at tea time and were a bit worried to be sent next door with our own key for the front door but was very pleasantly surprised. the rooin was spacious, the beds lovely clean and comfy with a big tv and tea making facilities. we were all in the same room, with four beds and the only thing i could say was that the bathroom was just a bit too small. the staff were lovely, the reception guy very polite and the breakfast very tasty. what more could you want for the price? ths was the third time we had travelled together and by far the best hotel for our budget. if we go to london again this is definately were we will be staying!

As the reviews go down the line i was not expectin much but when we arrive at the hotel was warmly welcome by the receptionist he checked us in as there were no potter service he if he could take the luggage into our room which was very kind. overall nice hotel, great location just minutes away from paddingtion station, full english breakfast excellent service. will visit your hotel again

When we first booked this hotel, we did not read much of the reviews and didn't think much of it. Then a few hours before the flight, I started googling and read all these terrible reviews about how the hotel had bedbugs, ants, how you couldn't lock the doors, unfriendly staff, dirty rooms and bedding and no clean towels. After reading this, it was already too late to cancel the booking and we did not want to waste any money so we took a risk and went there.
All of these staements however were false.

We had three travellers, but we got a bedroom with four beds, that was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bedding was clean and so were the towels. The bathroom was also spacious and clean aswell. The shower and toilet were fully in function.
No problems at all.
The breakfast was also good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned once a day.
We recommend this hotel to anybody who doesn't want to waste too much money for accomodation and doesn't need such a luxurious and top of the line hotel.
