Had free night's stay to use due to very noisy plumbing on previous visit. Was told in writing this could be used in conjunction with three nights for two offer. Total cost would be one night. Hotel told me - and I did ask them to clarify - they will not honour three for two deal booked with inkeeper's lodge they c
took over. Receptionist and cleaner as helpful as they could be considering supervisor would not speak to me. No one in authority did even after I went to Internet cafe and checked both sites which both stated deal should be honoured and asked for this info to be passed on. Have complained to travelodge using on line form. Did receive email not related to my problem! No apology or explanation or refund. Attitude of hotel appalling, management could not care less. Room clean although plumbing still a bit noisy. Do not expect this hotel to honour any deals-double check the price before arrival. If anything goes wrong with your booking no one in authority will even speak to you on the telephone (I tried) let alone in person.

Negatives:
The bathroom lights were temperamental – occasionally worked.
When next door are having a shower, the pipes vibrate & it’s really loud too – especially when they’re showering at 1 in the morning.
Breakfast was in a bag each day outside your door at 07:00. Inside the bag were orange juice, croissant, jam, cereals, chocolate muffin & long-life milk. If you like that type of thing, it’s perfect for you – it’s just not what I expected. Only the jam flavours vary & not the cereals.
(Warning to Smartphone users) I never used the Wi-Fi, due to having 3G – hated the fact that every time I connected to the internet a log-in page would pop up. It does get a bit tedious after a while.

Positives:
Location - 2 minute walk from Underground & the surrounding area is quiet too.
The price was cheap (Approximately £250 for 5 nights).

Stayed at Snaresbrook for 3 days with my daughter,while visiting London. Situated close to tube station. Rooms very clean and towels changed and beds made up while we where at breakfast. Breakfast good and food fresh. Although situated beside a pub there was very little noise at night. Would certainly recommend this lodge for value and location.

Room dingy, stain on bed sheet. The springs had gone on both twin beds and should have been replaced a least a year ago. Breakfast of poor quality, I also got into an argument with the carvery staff over the pathetic beef and turkey leftovers which they refused to replace. I've stayed in a few innkeepers over the last few years and have liked and recommended them. However the Borehamwood one we stayed in last year was poor and this was even worse. So my business will be going to the professionals next time rather than the ametuerish operation which Innkeepers seem to have become.
