Firstly made a call on a Sunday to confirm check in and collect my keys. I called to confirm all was in order. A grumpy foreigner answered the phone and told me to come back on Monday as the office was closed?! What?! But I booked it from Sunday; confirmation email and code in hand. I found the staff immediately rude before even knowing what the outside of the building looked like. Also typical for foreigners in London to get grumpy when a native english speaker can't understand them; like we're the foreigners pft. On a side note rather excited about making my first trip advisor review ;) Anyway, back to the fabulous chelsea cloisters "executive apartments". I have to say on arrival I was greeted by a friendly woman with dark hair. And found the porter extremely helpful even though he was quiet and didn't speak much English. There was a mix up with the booking as I was put in a very small studio with a fabulous view, however. I'm used to the small sized apartments and run down buildings in London. However I will not put up with a mattress that looked about 20 years old. The sheets were the most disgusting thing I've ever witnessed. Blood stained, urine stained, pubic hairs, crusts on the mattress cover, fungus growth in the shower. I wanted to vomit then and there. I was then put into a one bedroom which so far ive been happy with. Maids keep it clean daily and safe to say the mattress and sheets have been fully checked on my part and will give them a 9 out of 10: one mark lost from the starchy sheets which gave me a face rash from irritation. That I shall blame on my very sensitive skin. Advice to those wanting to go to Chelsea Cloisters to pay between £80 and £100 per night; you have been warned! My opinion, check in to holiday or premier inn if short let ;)
