Great location. Paddington tube is near. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value. Room was little tiny, but what can you expect in London and so good location. Overall it was really good hotel.

Great location. Easy access from Heathrow. Friendly helpful staff and involved owners. I was there for a trade show with some special needs like extra luggage and internet and fortunately had room in the lower level that did pick up the wifi from the lobby and my luggage (and packages delivered there) were handled with care and expediency. Rooms was small but that is expected in London. The cleanliness and comfort of the bed and the quality of the furnishings more than made up for it. Highly recommend. Had to stay in London on short notice on previous trip and paid almost three times as much for a just slightly bigger room. This was great deal and great experience. Highly recommend.

We booked a double room for one night only in december. The location is good with paddington tube station being only a stone's throw away. The manager is a very friendly and chatty man. Breakfast was nice with the food well cooked. The room and bathroom we stayed in was super tiny and having 3 couches in the room just took up way too much space. But it was no bother as were only there for one night.
The cons are: We stayed on the top floor and had to climb up 4 flights of stairs to reach our room as there are no elevators. The room was fairly clean but it seems the cleaner had forgotten to clean the toilet. It was resolved straightaway when we called the manager. He quickly ran upstairs to clean it. There are a few bits of furniture and boxes that has been stacked around in corners here and there in full public view with sheets thrown to top to cover up and it just gives an untidy appearance.
Overall it is an ok hotel and is good for an overnight stay

Stayed in this place for 1 night with a friend in a twin, the proprietors son was very friendly, couldn't do enough in fact, and the staff were the same - all friendly and accommodating. When you consider the location; close to Paddington station and then that we paid about £30 each including breakfast, I'd say that this place takes some beating. Its not a luxury hotel, its basic, but clean and well managed; breakfast was cooked but small (for the price i wasn't expecting a lavish buffet 'all you can eat' style) - it was more than adequate in every respect and i was very happy with the service I recieved for the money. I would recommend this place - its a great little hotel.
