“Nothing special but reasonable”

My fiancee farther and grandad and I stayed at this hotel as we were going to watch the PDC Darts Champonship. The room we had was a triple room up on the top floor which has been referbished, the room was modern and beds were comfortable.
The bathroom was also modern and very clean, we had hot water every day and there was three of us showering everyday, the shower was very powerfull. Yes the rooms are situated on top of a pub but you dont hear nothing what so ever as the pub is not a lively pub and doesnt stay open untill all hours. Couldnt ask for more for the price we payed £140 for a triple room for 2 nights, what more can you ask for.

i stayed for two nights in Beaconsfield hotel. On arrival room was not ready as cleaner was late doing rooms so went for a coffee ,eventually checked into my room at 3 pm. I woke the first morning and imagine my surprise when i discovered i could not have a shower as there was not hot water !! i complained to the barman and said he would look into it. i assumed the problem would be dealt with so you can imagine my surprise when i found there was no hot water again the next morning !! At no point was an explanation or apology given for the fact there was no hot water.the room was ok , the bathroom could do with a good clean.the accomodation is above a pub and you have to climb down a fire escape stairs to get out and in at night.would not recommend this accomodation to anyone !

“Really overpriced and no hot water”

We stayed at Beaconsfiel for a family get to-gether in London. On arrival we had to go up a fire escape, having got over the shock of that decided to have a shower before we went out,, there was no hot water, plus there was not hot water for the two days we were there, we tried the tell a manageress and she just fobbed us off to the Barman to deal with us. They also overcharged us for the room and did not offer us a refund, this place is not worth half the price we paid for the room, having paid 75 pounds per night and not breakfeast, only two boxes of cornflakes, and a carton of long life milk, room had no blinds in the windows, and you wake in the morning with the light . It is a total rip-off and would never stay here again

“Very Poor, booked in for 2 nights, left after 1.”

This hotel is a complete rip off. The TV doesn't work and the free Wi-FI doesn't work. The continental breaskfast is 2 small boxes of cereal on a fridge in the room and 2 capri-suns in the fridge. The windows are single glazed and there is alot of noise from cars on street outside as the building is located on a junction. Beds have no support and springs going up through your ribs so I had to use a towel on top of sheet. Don't stay here - I know its cheap but its also very very nasty.
Carol.

“Okay, but shabby”

We stayed here 3 nights.
Location was okay, 2 kms walk from the tube, on the piccadilly line which was good.
Room was sizey enough but very plain with no curtain so we awoke early each morning.
It was a little cold when we were there and the room wasn't well heated.
Bathrooms needed a makeover and a good cleaning.
Breakfast very simple, cereal and orange juice. Microwave in room was useful.
Pub downstairs was pretty good, got a little loud on weekends when trying to sleep. Didn't serve meals though.
I didn't feel at all unsafe here. Was next door to a park which was nice for a quick jog.
For the price it was okay, I'd consider going back again.
